Bandshell Sounds of the Summer Concert Series: Tribute to Tina Turner and Whitney Houston

Tina Turner and the incomparable Whitney Houston hit the stage together, in spirit, through the electrifying performances of the tribute band, Divas of Soul. Fronted by vocal dynamo Latraia Savage whose talent knows no bounds, this band is a celebration of two of music's most iconic figures. With a setlist that reads like a who's who of the music hall of fame, Divas of Soul keeps the energy sky-high, ensuring you're not just watching a show; you're part of a once-in-a-lifetime experience. 

The 2024 concert lineup includes tributes of all genres, including country, rock n’ roll, disco & funk, Motown and R&B. 

The Sounds of Summer Concerts are produced by The City of Daytona Beach Arts & Entertainment division (which also operates the Peabody Auditorium).

This year’s Sounds of Summer Concert Series presenting sponsor is the City of Daytona Beach. Participating sponsors are Daytona International Speedway, Hometown News, Beach 92.7 FM, Kix Country 98.7 FM, Kool 100.9 FM, Gary Yeoman’s Ford, Steve's Famous Diner, Coca-Cola and Bud Light.
