Looking to break a sweat? Want to see some exciting, edge-of-your-seat tennis matches? Head to the Florida Tennis Center! It’s the hub of Daytona Beach tennis, conveniently located just across the road from the world-famous LPGA International golf course. Several incredible tennis legends have tasted victory right here on these courts. The USTA is considered the aspiring tennis player’s pathway to tour-level competition.

Besides Daytona Beach’s famous speedway and deep, expansive beaches, one of the city’s most iconic landmarks is the Daytona Beach Pier. The original pier constructed here was built entirely out of palm logs around the turn of the 20th century. It extended 600 feet into the ocean, but sadly burned down in 1920 in a devastating fire. A few years later, the remains were sold and the pier was rebuilt.

A visit to Daytona Beach is sure to be filled with fun entertainment like family water parks, fast cars and Smithsonian-affiliated museums — but did you know that adventure can come naturally here, too?
