With all the fun monthly and weekly events to choose from, it’s hard to know where to even start in Daytona Beach! Checking out these seven events to get started:

Second Saturday Soundwalk

This unique excursion into sounds, awareness and the environment is a fun way to explore the rhythms of our urban and natural worlds. Each second Saturday of the month from October through April, the Atlantic Center for the Arts hosts this walkabout and tour for people of all ages. Each walk is beneficial for anyone who wants to de-stress, focus and develop a deeper understanding of how we fit into the ecosystem of our environment. And, it’s totally free!

Great Tasting Tours

This fun foodie experience was started by a couple who wanted visitors to get a taste of the “real” Florida by sipping and sampling local food, brews, wines and more. There’s something for everyone — from the Sip & Shop tour that hits wine bars and boutique shops, to the Sweet & Savory tour, on which you’re sure to find something that hits the spot. The tours take place every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 2 p.m. and are designed for adults over the age of 21. Everything on the tour — including restaurant gratuities — is included in your ticket price of $49 per person. To ensure each guest gets an authentic, intimate experience at every tour stop, each tour is limited to 12 guests at the maximum — so book your spot in advance!

Yoga in the Gallery

Every Wednesday evening, find your yoga flow at the Cici and Hyatt Brown Museum of Art. At Yoga in the Gallery, you’ll have no problem finding inspiration amongst all of the world-class exhibits the museum holds. Come and take a break from your worries by giving your mind and body an intentional space to connect. From 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., you’ll be guided through a series of yoga poses and relaxation exercises. All experience levels are welcomed, but advance reservations are required since space is limited. The class is $5 for museum members and $10 for non-members.

Flagler Avenue Wine Walk

On the last Saturday of every month, stroll Flagler Avenue in New Smyrna Beach and explore a wide variety of wines. Savor new tastes and flavor profiles by choosing from over 100 wines showcased at a number of designated locations. And, it’s a great deal for what you get — wine-tasting “passports” are $25 per person, and are available for purchase at the corner of Flagler and Peninsula avenues, at the corner of Flagler Avenue and Cooper Street, or at the corner of South Atlantic and Flagler avenues. This passport includes 20 tasting tickets and a keepsake wine glass!

Victorian Tea at Lilian Place

On the third Tuesday of each month, you can enjoy a traditional Victorian tea at the oldest home in the Daytona Beach area. Originally built in 1884, this house has since become a popular spot for history buffs of all kinds. And for $20, you can experience its antique charms as well as scones, pastries and a variety of teas. Call ahead for seating, and enjoy a tour of the home after you’ve had your fill of finger sandwiches!
