It’s the hub of Daytona Beach tennis, conveniently located just across the road from the world-famous LPGA International golf course. Each year, the Florida Tennis Center hosts over 30 major mixed-league, tri-level and United States Tennis Association (USTA) tournaments. The USTA is considered the aspiring tennis player’s pathway to tour-level competition. 

Besides Daytona Beach’s famous speedway and beautiful, expansive beaches, one of the city’s most iconic landmarks is the Daytona Beach Pier. The original pier was constructed entirely out of palm logs around the turn of the 20th century. It extended 600 feet into the ocean, but sadly burned down in 1920 in a devastating fire. A few years later, the remains were sold and the pier was rebuilt.
