Daytona Tortugas, a proud affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds, calls Daytona Beach and Jackie Robinson Ballpark home. The Daytona Tortugas are a popular Single-A minor league team playing in the Florida State League. Their season traditionally runs April through September, with many themed nights, adding to the family-centric atmosphere. Jackie Robinson Ballpark, which is designated as a National Historic Landmark and part of the African American Civil Rights Network, is located on the riverfront City Island in historic downtown Daytona Beach.
