Motorcycle Racing in Daytona Beach

Though it's most famous for car racing events like the Speedweeks & DAYTONA 500 and Coke Zero Sugar 400, Daytona Beach isn't just reserved for four-wheel vehicles. Motorcycle racing is another popular, adrenaline-inducing sport with a long and colorful history in east Central Florida.

Founded in 1937, the DAYTONA 200 is a 200-mile motorcycle race held annually at Daytona International Speedway during Daytona Beach Bike Week, a week-long spring tradition with plenty of activities on and off the track. There's the Daytona Supercross, various road racing events, the area's largest motorcycle marketplace and, of course, the running of the DAYTONA 200. Be on the look-out for the Championship Cup Series' National Championship Sprints and the American Sportbike Racing Association crowning of its season champions during the Fall Cycle Scene at the Speedway during Biketoberfest®.
