Named for the late community leader Frank Rendon, this beachfront park recently enjoyed a total makeover that created a top-notch experience for all park visitors. From the 134 off-beach parking spaces to the wooden observation deck and padded playground, the park is a perfect place to bring the kids, kick back and enjoy.
Lighthouse Point Park

Though this park costs $10 per vehicle for visitors, it’s well worth the small fee. The park is home to a vast array of wildlife and sprawls across 52 acres of pristine natural beauty, all located on Ponce Inlet right near the Marine Science Center. Soak in family experiences as you walk on the nature trails, look for dolphins along the shore, climb the observation tower and enjoy the dog-friendly swimming area.
Mary McLeod Bethune Beach Park

This free 4-acre park allows beachgoers in Daytona Beach to take a break from the sun and surf to have fun on a shaded playground. From sunrise until sunset, visitors can enjoy the funky decorative walkways or refresh in the outdoor showers.

This massive public park located on the very edge of New Smyrna Beach features two miles of elevated walkways your family can explore. The daily fee is $10 per car, but the adventures you’ll have will be priceless.
