There will be several special remembrance services planned throughout the community, including the Memorial Day Remembrance at Rockefeller Gardens in Ormond Beach. These solemn events honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the United States Armed Forces. The services will include patriotic music, guest speakers, and a moment of silence to reflect and remember.
Veteran memorials and museums in the destination where visitors can pay their respects and honor our fallen heroes on Memorial Day include the Veterans Memorial Plaza, the Veterans Memorial at Riverfront Esplanade and the Veterans Museum & Education Center, all located in Daytona Beach, Ponce Inlet Veterans Memorial located at the Davies Lighthouse Park in Ponce Inlet, and the Ormond Memorial Art Museum & Gardens.

Free Concerts at the Daytona Beach Bandshell
The summer concert series at the Daytona Beach Bandshell kicks off on Saturday, May 23 with Zendatta and Touch & Go, a Police and Cars Tribute. The concert begins at 7:15 p.m. followed by a fireworks show at 9:45 p.m.
The Saturday night concerts will run through Sept. 26. The Friday night concerts begin Friday, June 12 and run through August 28. Concerts on both nights start at 7:15 p.m. and the Saturday concert will include a fireworks show at 9:45 p.m.
The concerts at the historic coquina amphitheater are free for the public and reserved VIP tickets are also available.

Daytona Beach offers visitors a wide variety of attractions to incorporate on a Memorial Day holiday weekend:
- Daytona Aquarium & Rainforest Adventure: The destination’s only aquarium, this 55,000-square foot facility that features animals from land and sea.
