The Tom Staed Tourism Impact Award

The Daytona Beach Area Convention and Visitors Bureau created the Tom Staed Tourism Impact Award to recognize a business or entity that has significantly contributed to the growth, appeal, and impact of local tourism. The CVB accepted nominations from our partners based on these four pillars – economic impact, visitor experience, community impact and alignment and industry leadership. This year’s honoree, the Lodging and Hospitality Association of Volusia County, was a champion in the community, supporting initiatives that make Daytona Beach a better place for our visitors, our tourism workplace and our residents.
