Sugar Works Distillery is a family owned craft distiller of rum, moonshine and whiskey. The products are made in small batches with locally sourced material using time-honored traditions to create specialty spirits. Tours of the 2,500 square foot facility are happily offered.
What to Try: Young and sweet Calalisa Whiskey, light and bright Turnbull Bay Silver Rum, or traditional white corn 100 proof New Smyrna Shine.
Blueberry Sugar Sage Fizz Recipe
1 oz New Smyrna Shine
3/4 oz lime juice
3/4 oz simple syrup
8 muddled blue berries
1 sage leaf
Topped with ginger beer
Add all blueberries and sage into cocktail shaker then gently muddle. Add all ingredients except ginger beer in cocktail shaker, then pack shaker with ice and hard shake. Strain over ice in glass. Top off with ginger beer in a Collins glass.
