A man working at his parents` motel in the Catskills inadvertently sets in motion the generation-defining concert in the summer of 1969.
The popular Ang Lee directed film Taking Woodstock, the personal story of how Elliot Tiber saved the 1969 Woodstock Music and Art Fair from being canceled just 30 days before it was to start, will be shown six times in October.
Tiber’s pen and ink art will be available for purchase at this time. Taking Woodstock film goers will be able to return home with a memorable piece of American music, art and social history. A portion of each sale of Tiber’s art will benefit Cinematique.
