DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., – Kay Galloway, Chief Marketing Officer for the Daytona Beach Area Convention & Visitors (CVB), has earned her Certified Destination Management Executive (CDME) credential from Destinations International, the highest level of professional education for leaders in destination marketing and management.

The CDME program is designed for seasoned destination organization professionals who aspire to strategic leadership roles within the tourism and travel sector. With a curriculum that emphasizes visionary thinking, leadership, advocacy, policy development, and stakeholder engagement, the certification provides executives with the tools needed to address complex industry challenges and drive lasting community value.

Galloway, who began her second stint working for the CVB in 2018, leads all the CVB’s domestic and international consumer marketing and creative efforts with the goal of elevating Daytona Beach’s brand and visibility, inspiring visitation, and driving tourism economic impact through innovative and collaborative marketing strategies.
