Daytona River Tours

Enjoy a boat tour of the beautiful Halifax River in the Daytona Beach, Ponce Inlet and New Smyrna Beach area. Professional captains will take you along the shorelines to view some of the area’s unique shorebirds, see manatee families, and watch dolphins splashing in the waters. Tours run daily at 8 am and 12 pm. Each boat carries up to 6 passengers to minimize the number of people in each tour and offer unobstructed views of the river and shorelines. Tours are 2 and 1/2 hours and take you from the Port Orange Causeway Park, along the channels of the Intracoastal Waterway, past the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, the Inlet, and near the marinas and homes of New Smyrna Beach. Enjoy the views as Coast Guard certified captains search out dolphins, manatees, sharks and other fish. You’ll learn about the early history of Port Orange and New Smyrna Beach, the building of the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, and the unique birds and animals that make the river their home.
