The maritime history of the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse is fascinating to all visitors. However, have you ever thought about the families that helped keep the beacon shining for over 50 years? This special presentation, given by docent Jackie Mann, will explore the children and families that once lived, worked, and played at the Ponce Inlet light station.
This family-friendly presentation is a perfect Spring Break activity for guests of all ages. Hands-on activities, children's games and crafts, and a lot of history await families choosing to attend. There will be a walking tour of the lighthouse grounds as well as a time to climb Florida's tallest lighthouse following the presentation.
Registration is required, as there will be limited space for attendees. For registration, please contact the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse Programs Department at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 386-761-1821 ext 18.
