About

The Sixties Show, “The Greatest 1960s Musical Re-Creation Show on Earth,” will perform at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at Peabody Auditorium. The Sixties Show features former lifelong musicians who performed and recorded with many great singer/songwriters including The Who, John Fogarty from Creedence Clearwater Revival, Sir Paul McCartney, The Beach Boys and Bruce Springsteen. This is a show about time travel going back to the 1960s where people will hear how inspirational and historically significant the music and events were and continue to be. In addition to the concert experience, the show is a multimedia, Broadway-style production that is powerfully dramatized by a combination of time travel special effects, narration, 1960s archival audio and newsreel footage and a light show. Hear your favorites including “Wichita Linesman,” “Pleasant Valley Sunday,” “It’s Not Unusual” and “Everybody’s Talkin.”
