Part of the Daytona Beach Symphony Society's 2025-26 season, its 74th season, listen to Carmen – a story of cigarettes, seduction, bull fighting and murder all set to the tuneful score of Georges Bizet. Set in Seville, Spain, it is the story of a naïve corporal, Don Jose, who falls in love with the treacherous Carmen, only to lose everything including the girl. His disappointment leads to murder. Bizet’s music takes us on a journey through all the romance and tragedy of Andalusia.
