This philanthropic organization has been working closely with the Daytona Beach Area Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Ocean Center to plan for this event. Daytona Beach will host two Imperial Sessions back to back in 2017 and again in July 2018. The convention in 2017 is expected to draw more than 10,000 visitors from around the world.
While the Imperial Session is an annual business meeting and gathering of the international fraternity comprised of nearly 200 temples (chapters) in several countries, many fun events will be held that are open to the public.
The Walk, Ride or Drive for LOVE will be held July 9 at the Daytona International Speedway. Shriners Hospitals for Children® patients, families, community members and Shriners will walk or drive the track to raise funds and awareness for the hospitals. Shriners Night at the Ballpark is July 10 at Jackie Robinson Ballpark. The Shriners Parade, Fireworks and Music is July 11 on AIA and a Fab Four (Beatles tribute) concert is July 12 at the Ocean Center. For details on all events, go to www.imperial2017.com
