In recent years, American has finally begun to celebrate “The Spirit of ’45 Day,’ a day dedicated to those who served in support on the home front during World War II.
In recognition, The Ponce Inlet Lighthouse and Museum has developed and expanded that appreciation in a historical and sometimes comic remembrance of that generation’s contributions by examining how those people accepted the social, cultural and economic challenges that confronted them.
Join in on August 3rd for a special presentation given by Lead Docent, John Mann. The presentation begins at 2:00 PM at the Port Orange Regional Library.
