Juneteenth Community Festival

The spirit of freedom, culture, and community will take center stage once again as the Juneteenth Festival Group, Inc. proudly announces the return of its annual Juneteenth Festival, set to take place Saturday, June 13 at Cypress Park in Daytona Beach from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Celebrating the rich heritage and resilience of African Americans, this year’s festival, themed Juneteenth: Celebrating One Community in Unity, promises a day filled with live music, local vendors, food, art, and educational activities.

Festivities kick off with the Daytona Beach Juneteenth Family Festival – Florida’s longest running commemoration of the national holiday that celebrates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. This free, all-day event features live entertainment, traditional African dance performances, food trucks, a variety of vendors, activities for children, the Sankofa African Traveling Museum, a pound cake competition and more.
