What is “Pictona Generations” about? The Pictona Generations Tournament offers two exciting new formats that are not part of traditional pickleball tournaments. The goal of BOTH new formats is to bring together different generations of pickleballers. The exciting tournament is a two-day doubles competition, held on October 26-27.

All Gold Medal Winning Teams will be entered.
One lucky team will be have their names drawn after the last gold medal match of the day.
Teams do not have to be present to win.

• Round Robin format guarantees a minimum of 4 matches!
• Many top-level matches will be played on the MetroHealth Championship Court with referees, energetic announcers, and your name on LED scoreboards.
• Gold medal matches will have referees
• Dry-fit tournament shirts included with admission
• At Pictona, every court is separated by fencing, eliminating the need to chase down runaway balls or have interference from balls from other courts.

DETAIL:
Saturday, the 26th, is mixed doubles (male and female) playing split ages at skill levels 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5+.
• The split ages are 30/50, 40/60, and 50/70.
• For example: For the 30/50 split, one player is 30 or younger and the partner is 50 or older. Or
in another category, one partner is 50 or under and the other partner is 70 or older. Either gender partner can be at either of the two ages.

Sunday, the 27th, is gender doubles (men and women play separately) playing combined ages of 60+, 100+, and 130+ for skill levels 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5+.
• The two partners have to have a combined age at or above the combined age category.
• For example, women’s 4.0, with a combined age of 130 may have one partner at 60 and the other at 70, or one partner at 50 and the other at 80, or one partner at 70 and the other
partner at 75 (you can exceed the combined age).

Tournament registration fee is $40 until September 29, 2024 and each event fee is $20.
**After September 29, registration fee is $60.
