CMTW Presents The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition

Children's Musical Theatre Workshop, celebrating their 44th year presents their Spring 2026 show, The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition! CMT Workshop is committed to creating theatre education for aspiring young actors ranging from Kindergarten through 12th grade, while providing an opportunity for them to grow as performers as well as becoming responsible team players within a wholesome, family-oriented structure. 

This show is double casted. The opening cast will perform their featured roles in the Friday evening and Saturday afternoon shows. The closing cast will perform their featured roles in the Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon shows. All of the CMT Workshop Spring Theatre performers will be in all 4 of the shows.

The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition L. Frank Baum's beloved story of a young girl's adventure in a magical land has been entertaining audiences for over a century. MGM's blockbuster 1939 film adaptation, featuring the timeless songs of Harold Arlen and E.Y. Harburg, along with the brilliant instrumental music of Herbert Stothart, elevated the popular novel to even greater heights. This stage adaptation, featuring the characters and celebrated songs from the film, brings the wondrous Land of Oz to life in a jubilant theatrical experience.
