The Daytona Beach Symphony Society's 2025-26 season, its 74th season, continues with the Buffalo Philharmonic. Founded in 1935, the Buffalo Philharmonic has been led by some of the great conductors of the last century: William Steinberg, Joseph Krips, Lukas Foss, Michael Tilson Thomas, Semyon Byshkov and, since 1999, Joanne Falletta. Falletta is the first woman to lead a major American orchestra and has been credited with bringing the Philharmonic to an unprecedented level of national and international prominence. Join us for an evening of the romantic music of Brahms and Bruch.
