About
This art talk led by guest curator Ruth Grim, looks at the Vienna Secessionist painters of the late 19th century, who were a part of a large movement known as "Symbolism." Grim will discuss many different factions of this art movement that emphasized the human imagination and "life of the mind," as opposed to depictions of everyday reality. Ruth Grim, MA (New York University Institute of Fine Arts) has enjoyed 32 years of curatorial work at institutions such as the Bass Museum in Miami Beach, Appleton Museum of Art in Ocala, and Museum of Arts and Sciences in Daytona Beach.
