13th Annual Historic Legends North Turn Car Parade

The 13th Annual North Turn Legends Parade is a co-operative effort between Volusia County and the Town of Ponce Inlet to commemorate the area's rich beach racing history. Drivers and fans will be arriving with anticipation of driving and witnessing cars on the racing course that was used through 1958 as a place for speed trials and racing. 

Staging will begin at 8 a.m. on the beach in front of Racing's North Turn restaurant for spectator viewing. 

The road parade will begin as the cars proceed off the beach and drive south on Atlantic Avenue into Lighthouse Pointe in Ponce Inlet. The cars will then proceed north back into the Racing's North Turn Parking Lot for final spectator viewing. 

Spectator parking will be at the Toronita Avenue Beach Park, 4200 Atlantic Ave., in Wilbur by the Sea and buses will shuttle passengers as far as Jerry’s Italian Grill with stops along the way from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. There is no admission charge for the parade and no charge for the shuttle service. 

In addition to Toronita Park, additional shuttle service with pick up and drop off at Winter Haven Park and Jerry's Pizzeria from 8 a.m.- 2 p.m.
