Spring and summer entertainment events are heating up in Daytona Beach. From catching a wave to concert-going, there’s no limit to the fun that awaits. And this season, Daytona Beach is delivering several live music events that are fully prepared to rock your world. 

Summer Sounds

Grab a lawn chair or a blanket and enjoy Summer Sounds by the Halifax River. Save the date to catch three free concerts July 12, 19 and 26 right across from The Casements at July 12, 19 and 26 at Rockefeller Gardens.

Laser Rock Concerts

Enjoy a futuristic show of sights and sounds at the Laser Rock Concert series at the Museum of Arts & Sciences (MOAS). Each second Saturday of the month in May and June (with a bonus weekend in June), the Planetarium at MOAS is putting on an extra-special concert that’ll please more than one of your senses.

Watch the world light up with a sophisticated laser show set to the tunes of iconic rock bands. From the Beatles to Led Zeppelin, feel your favorite rock stars come to life with customized lasers and captivating artwork. Reminisce the glory days of rock ’n roll in a totally unique way at any one of the upcoming shows:

Second Saturday Laser Rock Concert Admission

One Show: $5.00
Two Shows: $7.00
Three Shows: $9.00

Laser shows begin promptly on the hour. Be sure to arrive early to purchase your admission ticket. There will be no late admittance to shows. 

Second Saturday Laser Rock Concert tickets can be purchased the week of the show at the Museum's guest services desk or at the door the night of the event. Entry to the shows is through the Planetarium lobby entrance. Seating for these concerts are limited. Snacks, beer, and soft drinks can be purchased at the Museum to be enjoyed during the show. 

NOTICE: Planetarium shows, laser shows, and light effects may cause seizures in certain individuals. If you have any concerns or questions about the show’s content or nature, please ask the operator/educator before the program begins. For your safety, and the safety of others, there is no admission or re-admission after a planetarium show has begun.

With three back-to-back shows on each of the dates, MOAS offers an option to save on a whole night of entertainment. Get one show for $5, two shows for $7 or three shows for $9. These shows are recommended for ages 8 and up.

Bandshell Summer Concerts

If laser light shows aren’t really your speed, head to the Daytona Beach Bandshell for free concerts and fireworks after every Saturday night show.

You can see these talented performers in person for free at the Daytona Beach Bandshell, located on the Daytona Beach Boardwalk. Parking is conveniently nearby, and Ocean Walk Shoppes in nearby.
