From water sports to wildlife paintings, and from seafood to fine art — the Daytona Beach area is full of fun things to do. Coming up on the third weekend of November, two free festivals will offer activities the whole family can enjoy. Get the details below!

Riverfest Seafood Festival

One of Ormond Beach’s biggest and best festivals is back this year! The Ormond Beach Riverfest Seafood Festival returns to Rockefeller Gardens November 18-19.
Come experience a two-day celebration full of fresh seafood, fun activities, live music and more!

Try your hand at a number of water sports, or kick back and listen to music on the main stage with a hot dog and cold beer in hand. Fix a plate of fried fish, fresh local oysters and other fresh seafood, but be sure to save room for one of the scrumptious desserts! Don’t worry — there are plenty of non-seafood options for “landlubbers,” too.

Once you’ve fueled up, hit the sandy beach in Fortunato Park for some paddleboarding, kayaking and boat rides. The little ones will have plenty to explore, too, including crafts, games, a bouncy house and even a Kid Fish area with educational stations and fishing-pole giveaways.

DeLand Fall Festival of the Arts

With more than 50,000 annual attendees, the DeLand Fall Festival of the Arts is consistently ranked among the best fine-art festivals in Florida. This year, the festival celebrates its 25th anniversary — and it promises to be the best year yet!

More than 150 artists from all over the country will present their wares at the fest, showcasing a wide variety of work that includes paintings, glass, sculptures, jewelry, photography, printmaking, wood, ceramics, mixed media and more! Whether you are a fine arts aficionado or a casual observer, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Bring the whole family to soak in a weekend of art, street performances and youth activities. After you’ve gotten your fill of art culture, hit one of the food trucks, beer gardens or wine bars to relax and unwind.

And, be sure to make your way to the outdoor stage, where local, national and international acts will present musical performances. With a lineup ranging from rock to blues, you’re sure to find a sound that suits your groove. It’s a weekend event you won’t want to miss!
