The Daytona Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) works with area tourism and hospitality-related businesses, non-profit organizations, and event promoters, to represent the area to potential travelers, tour operators, travel agents, meeting planners, and the travel media. The CVB maintains a staff of approximately 15 full-time marketing and administration professionals, who act in accordance with initiatives outlined by the Halifax Area Advertising Authority (HAAA).
Administration is responsible for the overall management and operations of the CVB as well as Finance and Human Resource services.

Working closely with meeting planners, tour and travel operators, and sports groups, the Group Sales Department helps to coordinate numerous meetings, citywide conventions and trade shows and sports competition events held in the area throughout the year. The CVB is an active member of many industry professional associations and promotes the meeting facilities and hotels at trade shows and conventions worldwide.

MARKETING & DESIGN
This division of the CVB handles advertising, tourism events, digital marketing, consumer promotions and communications, visitor information services and business development.
This division of the CVB focuses on media relations, travel journalist press trips, content, brand and message consistency, community relations, speaker's bureau and crisis communications. Tools include targeted media releases, print and digital publications, event calendar, social media, and personal contact with strategic media outlets, travel writers and other key audiences.
