About Parks, Recreation and Culture
Whether you want to take a nature walk, see historic sites, learn more about the environment, or take part in cultural opportunities, Volusia County has it all. You also can boat, fish, camp, observe wildlife in its natural habitat, sunbathe and participate in active recreational activities in Volusia County.
Our programs and facilities incorporate a theme that embraces environmental, cultural, heritage and outdoor (ECHO) activities and sites.
Art and culture
Volusia County is famed for its miles of beaches, lazy rivers, unsurpassable weather, its forests, quiet towns and sparkling resorts.

Volusia County has three popular attractions that highlight the area's history and ecology.
Land Management
Land Management is responsible for the management, enhancement and restoration of approximately 38,000 acres in Volusia County.

Volusia County is blessed with some of the most beautiful parks and trails in the Southeast.
