Halifax Art Festival
November 5-6, 2016
From ceramics and basket weaving to watercolors and oil paintings, the Halifax Art Festival, held each fall in early November, celebrates seasoned as well as emerging artists and craftsmen. Featuring hundreds of juried artisans from all over the country, it is the second oldest continual art festival in the state of Florida.
Located under the shady palms of picture-perfect Beach Street in Daytona Beach where you'll discover the delightful Riverfront Shops of Daytona Beach and local treasure Halifax Historical Museum. You'll want to make a day (or two!) of this Central Florida premier annual event to help with your holiday shopping.
The Halifax Art Festival draws over 40,000 visitors each year to shop for antiques, original artwork in an array of mediums, crafts, home goods, jewelry, clothing and more. Live entertainment, a student art competition, children’s activities and art zone, international street cuisine and festival food make it a fun family-friendly event.
Established by the Guild of the Museum of Arts & Sciences over 50 years ago, the Halifax Art Festival is a major fundraiser for the Museum of Arts & Sciences and its Charles and Linda Williams Children’s Museum.
