VOTRAN's turn-of-the-century style trolleys operate from mid
January to Labor Day on Atlantic Avenue in the Greater Daytona
Beach Area.
Hours of Operation: Noon - 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday
Cost: $1.25 for adults; Seniors (65 - up) $.60; Disabled
$.60; Youth (6-17) $.60; Children under six free and paratransit
fare $2.50. All trolleys are equipped with wheelchair lifts, air
conditioned, and equipped with the "talking bus" features
to call out your stops.

Volusia County's Public Transit System. Regular
bus service throughout Volusia County is available from VOTRAN.
Hours vary. Please contact the office for current schedule. Cost:
$.60 one-way for passengers with disabilities, $1.25 for companion.
$1.50 all-day pass for passengers with disabilities; $3 for
companion. Accessibility: Equipped with handicap ramp and seating.

Gold (Para-transit) Service: Phone: (386) 322-5100 VOTRAN's
Gold Service is available to persons who, because of physical or
mental disability or age, are unable to transport themselves and
cannot use fixed-route bus service. Assisting devices such as
wheelchair lifts and lowered steps for easy boarding access meet
requirements of the Americans With Disabilities Act. VOTRAN drivers
have special training in personal assistance. Service is available
throughout Volusia County for those who meet eligibility
requirements. Call for more information and eligibility
requirements. Gold (Para-transit) availability times: Greater
Daytona Beach Area 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Sunday Southeast
and West Volusia 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
Reservations may be made from 7 a.m.- 4 p.m. Monday-Friday. Cost of
services: A $2.50 one-way fare is charged for Gold Service. Exact
change is required. VOTRAN drivers do not carry cash. One certified
personal care attendant assisting the passenger will not be charged
fare. A companion will be charged a $2.50 one-way fare. Scheduling
transportation: Qualified persons or their personal care attendants
must request transportation at least one day in advance of travel.
Reservations can be made no more than seven days in advance. When
calling the Gold Service reservations office, be sure to make
reservations for personal care attendants or companions desiring
transportation, too. Also, advise the reservation office of any
special assistance services needed. Subscription service is
available for customers who require transportation service to the
same destination at least three or more times a week. Only one
telephone call is necessary to make a service reservation. However,
the reservations office must be advised of any change in scheduling
