1 - 3 p.m. Southeast Museum of Photography, Daytona State College,
Mori Hosseini Center (Bldg. 1200), 1200 International Speedway
Blvd., Daytona Beach. Enjoy parent-child art and photography
sessions designed for children aged 8-14. Museum education staff
will lead a variety of workshops utilizing traditional and
non-traditional photography methods. Meet at the museum lobby
reception desk just prior to each session. Cost: $18 per individual
session. Pre-register for each full series of 4 sessions for $54
($18 savings). This personalilzed custom-made photo memory quilt
will allow you to transfer up to 5 photos, each surrounded by bold
patches and patterns. Use pictures from your early childhood, a
favorite event, or show off your family members. Each quilt comes
with decorative border for east hanging. Each child can embellish
with buttons and embroidery thread.
