October in Daytona Beach means the countdown is officially on for the 30th Annual Biketoberfest®! From October 13 to 16, about 100,000 motorcyclists, enthusiasts and other fun-seekers will flock to the area to soak in picture-perfect fall weather, live music and exciting professional motorcycle races. Besides the good food, new friends and overall feeling of camaraderie, you’ll come across some pretty unbeatable views on your trek to — and rides throughout — Biketoberfest®

Here are a few Top Rides you won’t want to miss while you’re here:

Old City Ride

Join in a favorite Biketoberfest® tradition with a ride that begins at the Main Street bridge in Daytona Beach, winds along the Halifax River through the Ormond Beach Scenic Loop, and eventually puts you right in the heart of the nation’s oldest city, St. Augustine. During this 2.5-hour cruise, you’ll get your fill of beauty from places like the scenic AIA Highway, North Peninsula State Park, and Palm Coast and the Flagler Beaches. It’s 110 miles of remarkable Florida views.

Daytona Beach Racing & Card Club

Riders who want to try their luck on this ride can pick up a free collectible poker chip at the start of the fest on Thursday, Oct. 18. The fun begins at the Daytona Beach Racing & Card Club near the intersection of I-4 and I-95 on Williamson Boulevard. At the club, riders will find a 50-table card room, private betting carrels and over 300 HD LED TVs. Those ready to tackle the two-hour ride will ride by Daytona International Speedway and proceed west to Woodland Boulevard in DeLand, onward to Blue Spring State Park, and then along the scenic Enterprise-Osteen Road by Lake Monroe and Green Springs State Park before heading back toward Daytona Beach. Plus, there will be pit stops at New Smyrna Speedway and Daytona Flea & Farmers Market — and that means you won’t run out of interesting things to look at!

Ponce Inlet Ride

For a shorter ride that isn’t short on iconic views, head out on the Ponce Inlet Ride. Start along the Atlantic coastline and curve back around along the Intracoastal Waterway on this 24-mile loop. It’s a ride filled with salty air, Spanish moss and superior scenery. You’ll see some historic and unique views as you go, such as the World’s Most Famous Beach sign and the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, which is Florida’s tallest lighthouse. A little history and a lot of fun — you won’t want to miss out!

National Seashore Ride

Just over 30 miles south of Main Street in Daytona Beach, Canaveral National Seashore awaits your arrival. This cruise typically takes about an hour one way and offers many memorable sights along the way. You’ll pass by the marshes of Spruce Creek Preserve, take in the distant view of Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, and enjoy the laid-back, beachy attitude along Flagler Avenue. Plus, pass by the Turtle Mound Archaeology Site, Apollo Beach Visitor Center, Eldora Loop Road and more. The ride becomes increasingly more peaceful and remote as you near the national seashore, and once you’re there, you won’t be able to deny the sense of freedom it fosters deep within.

Street Festival Ride

For views as classic as they come, don’t miss the Biketoberfest® Street Festival Ride. For these four miles, you’ll have the best seat in the house to view famous sights and rocking festivals along Main Street, and at the Midtown Street Festival. These street festivals will be brimming with food, vendors, merch, live music and plenty of parking. Each one has its own distinctive vibe, so you’ll want to make stops at all three. For example, at Midtown, you’ll get a taste of some great soul food. Bring your appetite!

Biketoberfest® Country Ride

Experience Florida’s beautiful countryside with a memorable ride from the city of Apopka to Main Street in Daytona Beach. If you want to see some of Florida’s most naturally magnificent scenery, don’t miss this scenic cruise. This ride kicks off at 8 a.m. on October 21, on the last day of the fest — it’s the perfect way to round out an unforgettable weekend!

These top Biketoberfest® rides offer one-of-a-kind views and favorite memories just waiting to be made — and are just a few of the rides to be had!
